Terms and Conditions

1. Services Provided

CoverStory Inc. provides video recording and editing services to clients. Upon completion of services, clients own the videos in perpetuity unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

2. Rights to Exploit

While clients retain ownership of the videos, CoverStory Inc. reserves the right to use excerpts or portions of the videos for marketing and promotional purposes, with the client's approval. This includes but is not limited to use on our website, social media channels, and in promotional materials.

3. Money-Back Guarantee

We offer a money-back guarantee to clients who are not entirely satisfied with our services. To qualify for a refund, clients must notify us via email within one week of receiving the final product. Refunds are processed within 7-10 business days of approval.

4. Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for providing their own means of recording in the form of either a late model smartphone (later than 2018) or HD webcam on their computer or laptop. Clients must also download the free Riverside app if using a phone to access the recording studio, clients using a computer or laptop must join via a link with an updated web browser, preferably the most up-to-date version of Chrome. Any issues regarding client-owned and operated technology could create a delay and require rescheduling. Clients who opt to use older model cameras will agree to a lower quality final resolution for their CoverStory. 

5. Payment Terms

Payment is due upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. Late payments may incur penalties or interest charges.

6. Confidentiality

CoverStory Inc. treats all client information and materials with strict confidentiality. We do not disclose or share any client videos or personal information without explicit consent, except as required by law.

7. Limitation of Liability

While CoverStory Inc. strives for excellence, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of the use or inability to use our services.

8. Amendments

CoverStory Inc. reserves the right to update or modify these terms and conditions at any time. Clients will be notified of any changes via email or through our website.

9. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Texas, USA. Any disputes arising under these terms and conditions will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Texas, USA.
